I've lived in both East Cobb and West Cobb. The people in East Cobb generally have a higher standard of living, whilst West Cobb is more rural and laid back with a friendlier vibe.

I've never agreed with referring to Smyrna, Vinings, Mableton, or Marietta as "West Cobb". Smyrna and Vinings are in southeast Cobb. Mableton is in south-central and southeast Cobb. Marietta is Central Cobb.

West Cobb is Acworth, Kennesaw, Powder Springs, Clarkdale, Austell, Dallas Highway, Lost Mountain area, etc.

I'm trying to figure it out myself honestly. Looking at homes in that area, the prices are crazy, but the question is " is it worth it long term for equity?"

Never understood why they call it East Cobb snobs. Lived EC 20 yrs its Nice area but not snobbish. My 2 cents
