Borovets Review! 2025 ~ The cheapest ski resort in Europe??

We visited Borovets in the last week of January 2025.

This review covers:
-Prices
-Accommodation (The Rila Hotel)
-The slopes
-The town of Borovets + nightlife
-Kid's skiing

We rented skis from Traventuria via SkiSet.

All bookings were done manually via each of the respective services' websites.

Kids lessons were booked through the Rila Hotel and were fully supervised including an hour's lunch, from 08:30 - 16:00. The kid's learning area is at the bottom of the green slopes right outside the Rila Hotel, an area with a lot of foot traffic.

Thanks for the video, gives a good insight to borovets. A group of 11 of us have just booked to go last week of January next year, 5 days of skiing midweek so glad to hear the slopes are considerably quieter throughout the week. Would you recommend booking ski pass on a daily basis? Is there an incentive to block book the ski pass? 8 of us have never been and 3 of us have been once 15 years or so ago so. Seemed the most cost effective place to go for a first time to gauge interest in the sport.
