i watch this EP so many times just because of EVELYN lol i felt bad because she didn't want her parents to break up but her mom lost her dream home because of her dad show he didn't care about anyone else but himself so i just wanted EVELYN life to be great and be happy her and her mom

In so many instances, Manny downplays or totally disregards their feelings and concerns. A crying Evelyn says they're yelling again and Manny just says: "Who?". That's a typical gaslighting move. Another one is claiming it's an old recipe when Christine says she knows they used to do it differently. "She's jealous because they come for me not her." What in the narcissistic hell? I'm not saying he's a bad person, because I don't know him, but he has certainly done and said things that shows a total lack of respect for Christine especially. I believe all people are capable of change, and I really hope he did and treats Christine better. Maybe KN was the wake up call he needed. I hope so.

Thank you for these updates! One thing that bothers me is how the restaurants get 'free' renovations and equipment upgrades only to then close a few months/ year later. Very happy that Evelyn carved out her own path in life though, wishing her continued good wishes

I worked for these people pouring drinks and cleaning tables for a couple days when I was 17 and the wife was just as bad as the husband if not worse. I knew a few days in that the place was a mess and quit, but after coming in to get my pay, the wife refused to pay me and screamed her head off at me in front of the entire restaurant that I didn't work and stood around "scratching my ass". Another of her gems was "guess what honey life is not fair." I left without the money. Very very sour taste from these people and the whole experience. Not surprising their marriage and business fell apart. They were nasty.

All of the different people that have been on Kitchen Nightmare Episodes don't listen when Jon Tatter says don't open a family business because the business will rip you apart and of course the customers they vote with their feet and leave because they can get better food at other restaurants

I wonder if the producers demand that the restaurant owners must say "Jy-ro" because Gordon says it that way... thats not the correct, Greek way to say it. Its so weird. The owners in this one clearly have a greek accent too, so they supposedly spent time there. (Happens in all the greek episodes)

13:10 Kinda weird to complain about someone asking you to repeat what I assume is a relatively long string of random numbers for the groupon reservation

The alternative is not asking you to repeat yourself and getting it wrong, so when you turn up there's no reservation with your reference number because it was written down wrong, I know which of those situations would annoy me most, and it's not repeating something for someone that for all you know might be hard of hearing (Assuming they hadn't been there or interacted with him in the past)

There's nothing else I'd defend the guy over, but that seems like he was actually trying, maybe they had bad cell signal when they called the restaurant who knows lol
