I turned all of Super Mario 64 into Minecraft

I changed every single texture in Super Mario 64 into Minecraft textures! Yep. That's about it.

Today I reworked as much of Super Mario 64 textures into Minecraft textures! I managed to work on Peach Castle, Whomp's fortress, and Bowser in the sky turning them all into Minecraft levels!

The sky box has such an awkward shape so they can wrap it, as well as possible given the hardware and process, into a somewhat hemispheric shape around the world. What you were looking at is the unwrapped tiles of the sky box texture

I think what makes this so charming and funny is the fact that it's delightfully low-res graphics born from technical limitations swapped out for delightfully low-res graphics born from aesthetic choices. Plus the mob faces slapped onto the enemies. I love it

The brick texture for Peach’s castle could be Nether Quartz Bricks, since they are also white
