As an Ipad pro only user I would definitely like to see more of your tutorials using this device. Thank you.

Great tutorial, thx. Could you explain the correct settings to use the cloud as when I use my Iphone and Ipad the images are not equal.

Cool new feature is content aware deletion under the Healing Tool in both versions.

Nice video, thanks! This is my workflow: I download the images from my SD card to IPad Pro, I edit in Lightroom there, and I sync the images to Lightroom classic over the cloud. If I need to continue there, I do. In case I have to use Denoise Ai, I still put the images to iPad first, I go to my desktop to collect the image after synchronization there and I begin with Denoise. The I continue to edit there or on my iPad, as the images sync back to my iPad as well. I hope this adds to the topic.

Hi Anthony: thank you for so much nice and clear videos! I have a question. Is it safe to update to the new Ventura Mac OS? I use the Adobe Suite and some Nikon software as well. Thanks.

I use LR Mobile on my iPad to edit while traveling, or just away from my desk, where I have LR Classic. I set up one album in both versions, (collection in Classic), so I can quickly transfer images from Mobile to Classic. I also have albums/collections in both that hold my favorite images that I might want to access on my iPad at any time.

Hi Anthony, thanks for sharing 👍 I have a question... If I create a sync folder locally on my main PC, and have an album on the cloud, and edit an image in mobile LR on my tablet, does it create the sidecar file locally when it syncs with my main PC so I can continue to edit in LR Classic... and vice versa? Thanks again, your videos have helped me a lot 😃

Am I right that you cannot access topaz plug ins from Lightroom to edit an image but you can from Lightroom classic?
Thank you for all your tutorials.

Thanks. Very helpful. I was watching to see if the image needs to be “saved” or “accepted”, or “stored” to make the changes available in the cloud. Can you comment on that? Also, I see Classic as an opportunity to stored a smart folder, or “album” of some of my best images so that I can work on them or share them regardless of my location or device. Can you comment on that, or do a video on it? Thanks. Geoff

Anthony, I have been trying to search for my question/answer regarding edits in LR Classic and can't find anything. So here's my question. If I have two versions of an image (copies) how can I go in to each one to see what edits I did on each one? I'm trying to see the history but can't find a button for history either. Can you help?

I actually prefer LR find it real user friendly to work with and like you pointed out all the edits are immediately available on all my devices wich is a big plus. Thanks for your posts really appreciate them

The real advantage to Lightroom is when you use it in conjunction with Lightroom classic. Any Lightroom classic collections that you sync with the cloud and share, do not give full resolution downloads. However, when you start with Lightroom and upload your pictures. Now you have full resolution downloads. If you sync your classic to the cloud, those images from Lightroom show up in your classic and are download it onto your computer. Now, any edits you make to those images on classic appear in light room as well. It really is the best of both worlds. You can share those images in galleries created through Adobe. The Adobe online galleries don’t have the best user interface, but to share pictures with family and friends it works fantastic. If I’m sharing images with paying clients, I’ll use other image hosting sites that have better user interfaces.

I use Lightroom just for smartphone images. It does a good job for that

You can also set up an album on Lightroom to sync with Lightroom Classic. I did that on a trip so I could edit a few selected photos on the road that would appear on my computer at home. It was nice not to have to do it manually. You still have to put the photos in the proper Lightroom folders but some work was saved.

I don't like Lightroom (i.e., not CC) because I still just don't like transferring everything over "the net". Adobe Lightroom CC still allows ME control of all that.

I will never use Lightroom (cc, cloud, mobile etc). I far prefer Lightroom Classic and store my images locally and back up locally as well as to a subscription cloud server. Adobe cloud storage is too pricey. I prefer to keep it simple on my desktop. Fewer headaches! Thanks for covering for those who choose to use it.
