As a non American fan of the sport, when i first got introduced to American Football i saw the Rams' helmet design and i somehow immediately fell in love with the team, now knowing the story behind the design is cool to me

I've always had a huge fascination for American Football helmets, especially after I played Quake! It's very clear how much influence these designs had on the protagonist's helmet, and even more so in the series' latest game (which has a full, optional football outfit for the protagonist), and I really like how they look without the face bars.

Very good video overall, anyways! Time to binge watch the whole channel.

As a kid in the 70's and 80's I intrigued by the face masks. I loved the offensive and defensive line's full face cages. I liked Herschel Walker and Emit Smith's as well. Awesome vid keep the facts coming...

Our high school just got the 2019 vicis helmets they are amazing

I’m from 2022 and riddell has introduced a new line of helmets called axiom. It’s an upgraded version of the speedflex and features wider slits on the shell of the helmet and it gets rid of the 2 bars on either both of the eye slot; giving the player a panoramic view.

Ya know, I was complaining about the new helmets because I did not like all of the contours.
Knowing now that they provide extra protection for the players, I'll shut up now.

I used the Vicis helmet this past season and I have to say, it is the best helmet I have ever tried in my life. I’ve tried the Riddell Speedflex, Schutt VTD2, and the Riddell Speed all throughout my high school career and nothing can beat vicis. I don’t feel anything when behind hit in the head. While new experience.
