Although Esdeath was the enemy but her love with Tatsumi is sincere

You can say that this is the Esdeath Route. There's no changing Esdeath's mentality the weak will perish and there's no way Tatsumi could ever agree to that. If they can ever be together, either one of them should have their character change which is totally not happening. This is the only ending where Tatsumi and Esdeath can actually be together, dying while holding each other. While it's true that Tatsumi has no say in this regard, one thing for sure is that he died protecting something and that for sure would make him happy at his deaths door (even though the "I couldn't keep my promise" says otherwise). Esdeath in her last breath is holding the person she truly loved and she can only smile while enveloping Tatsumi and herself with ice. They both died happy, and then they disappear together. This for me is a happy ending and the only ending that's possible for their Ship.

Honestly, it was seeing Esdeath's genuinely love for Tatsumi that I felt that Esdeath could've been set up to be a redeemable villain. Sure, she was far from being a saint, but the fact that she was so innocent when it came to romance and feelings in general, made me believe that she could somemore than the typical "Sadistic Ice General" if the author bothered to do something with her.

Esdeath was cold hearted and crazy AF, but her love for Tatsumi was real and it was strong

One thing I think about when I see this scene is that Esdeath though her love being sincere for Tatsumi. She still in her last effort managed to still hit Akame with one final blow. When she took Tatsumi's body with her she deprived Akame of the closure she would of gained being able to bury Tatsumi and come to peace saying her last goodbye to him. Possibly even having a grave to come back for comfort. None of this now given to her and Akame is left truly alone now.

Honestly this scene left me speechless and heartbroken for Esdeath, even though I knew she was a bad person, her last moments of vulnerability and just wanting to die with Tatsumi hit hard. Seeing her hold his dead body while she's dying herself, then freezing herself and Tatsumi together, and then the ice shattering left me feeling empty inside tbh

Esdeath was a true lover. You can consider her the villain but as for her own way of life she was a sincere person. She always was true to her nature. She didn't hide behind a facade like the ones she protected (unfortunately).
