It was hard to tell but was your 3/4" tape folded over (like back masking) or was it straight ? looked like it was straight so what does running across your knee do? Thanks...your videos are the best..you are an artist !

Here in The U.S.A., they sell a device called eazy-edger tape dispenser, that actually when you pull the tape, two small rollers fold the tape, works very well, thats what I use.

I use soft edge foam to create the soft paint edge and to seal the paint from going in the jamb. Ive never had to use a false edge first or having to tape the backside of door. If i did not have foam i would use false edge and then paper inwards in the jamb and backside of door.
