DIY Blank Sublimation Patches How to Make Sublimation Patches From Start to Finish! This is just ONE of the ways you can make your own Sublimation Patches! This method involves an embroidery machine and embroidery editing software.

0:00-Introduction and comparison of embroidered and sublimated patches
2:46- Creating custom patches for sublimation
6:15- Putting polyester tulle patch fabric on the hoop
6:46- Pressing go on the machine and stitching them out
9:31- Cutting out the patches
9:59- Spray sublimated transfers with Pro Spray
10:15- Placing the patches on the transfers
11:19- Pressing them at 400 degrees for 60 seconds
12:00- The reveal!
12:55- How to apply the glue if you choose to
14:16- Sharing some other finished patches

One of the things that would make embroidery easier is a good embroidery editing software program.

Where do you get your polyester twill patch fabric? I bought some polyester from joann but it doesn't seem as heavy as yours.

if you use a soldering iron to cut the twill it will seal the thread.

Just a couple of tips. You may know these by now. Since you are cutting your glue with your Cricut, you MIGHT be able to save your shape as an SVG file (through your embroidery software) so that you have the correct shape and don't have to trim. Also, you may be able to do print and cut of your sublimation to save yourself time. I plan to try these out soon, but just thinking.
