Got ours 2 weeks ago, G trim and absolutely perfect vehicle for family of 7. First long distance trip was Manila- Legaspi. Awesome vehicle!

With or without those useless & expensive TRD accessories - the rush looks fine & a practical family vehicle for an average filipino family & fits to the weather condition in our country - #1. 220 ground clearance is good enough for poor road condition & the flood during rainy season. #2. 6 Airbag is absolutely the best thing toyota done - i won't compromise the safety of my passenger compared to its rival with 2-3 airbag only #3. Rear Wheel Drive excellent & design for passenger vehicle & highland drive compared to its rival with front wheel drive.

Ngayon, isipin nyo ano nagagawa ng 4 CYLINDERS, 1, 500cc engine with VVT-i, plus matching optimized transmission gears. Mas gusto nang segment na yun eh everyday, year in year out twist mo lang keys andar agad walang madaming arte at drama, ok aircon, relatively safe yung cabin, ok audio at speaker system pag nainip sa daan at may charger. Unless lahat ng kalye nyo dyan ay mala-expressway or everyday ka nag out of town, more than enough na yung 80kph sa kalsada natin. Tsaka ground clearance men! GROUND CLEARANCE! Naku alam nyo ba gaano kalaking factor yan dito sa probinsya? Baha, year-in year-out na road detours due to constructions etc., internal barangay roads (aba all year-round may fiesta here and there at everywhere, lalo na at pag may lechon, eh kahit bundok aakyatin namin yun kasama). Isip din pag may time wew.

May kanya2 namang target na market yan eh. Masayang masaya na ako sa Rush. There are only 3 of us, me, my wife and our daughter + mga gamit namin, okay na okay na.

design is good if only they also made a diesel variant because this needs more torque to make it perfect, papalitan ko na sana si dagul nyan.

In terms of safety features, I choose the Rush.

I hope next year toyota will come up with foldable sit at the back and cruise control similar to xpander

I would consider buying this or the Xpander if you are in Manila.
1. High ground clearance - panlaban sa baha at humps. Daming humps samin dito sa Maynila.
2. Matic - A must for traffic

But for this price range, you could already buy an Innova.

Best review for the rush... If it helps try featuring all amenities like air vents storage bins power plugs. But good review for an overall experience none the less

I have been a manuel driver eversince ... something i observed among car dealers these days is that manuel transmission are line up on the lower catergory while the high end units are automatic ... while manuel users end up on the lower end without these great features .... honestly speaking manuel has greater advantages over matic - fuel efficient or greater mileage, better acceleration, low maintenance cost & higher resale value....not to mention the road & weather condition in our country ma-gastos ang matic pag nasira. I hope car manufacturers will produce the same level with matic on manuel or V series.

This tall-riding MPV has bumpier ride than the Xpander.
