The Idahoan shares his paraphrase of the 83rd psalm.

Lyrics:

Oh Lord, unto Thee do I pray,
Keep silence no longer this day,
For all of Thy foes have their say,
Making tumult to get their own way,
While devious schemes they do lay,
All of Thy people to slay!

Edom and Moab and Lott,
Ishmaelites and Philistines,
Ammon and Gebal and Tyre,
Amalakites and Hagarenes,
And even the children of Assur,
Together they come with one consent,
Our annihilation to assure!

Smite them, oh Lord, with confusion,
As You did the armies of Midian.
Let their nobles and warriors be slain,
By feeble effeminate women!
Blow them away like chaff on the wind,
And like brush consumed by wildfire,
So let them also be burned!
Let Thy tempest of wrath fill them with fear,
‘Til their evil schemes are all overturned!

And so let their faces be covered with shame,
Until they repent and seek after Thy name,
Lest they perish forever in eternal flame!
Then all men shall hear of Thy fame,
For You alone are Jehova:
Self-existent, over all reigning supreme!
All the souls on the earth are wholly Thine,
At Thy will to condemn or redeem!

Outstanding.
Lotta things going around here( in Saint Louis)
Lotta evil folk running roughshod over a good portion of this Earth that we were meant to Steward.
Pretty timely and oddly appropriate for me personally
Been a while since I've cracked open The Book.
Do believe that ought to change
Thank you brother
