What's the point of standing close to the materials that the walls are made when no explanation is given ? At least to simple people without any knowledge of PH's; bur still interested to learn a bit and understand.

I put 1/2” rigid foam between the framing n drywall thus no bridging so I found out my window choice was poor n I even foamed between the jam. Would have been interesting with 2 “ foam. Tell me as I heard a comment - in the gwn where heat retention is key does insulation keep the cold out or the heat in or better yet should one insulate outside or inside the framing ????

This is one of the worst definitions of a thermal bridge I've ever heard. How can he be a TB modeller if he doesn't understand the science and can't explain it in a robust manner.
