Quite possibly the best quote ever: "There is only one hope for humanity: the synthesizer."

8:49 - "This funky tune has resurrected Panos... like the Christ." That line couldn't have been delivered any more perfectly.

It’s criminal that this masterpiece of art doesn’t even have 1m views over 4 years. And you got to think that this cost Adult Swim at the minimum 100k to produce from paying actors, paying crew, catering and post production etc. So thank you Adult Swim for just pissing away your money. Sincerely, thank you.

RIP Vangelis, the synthesizer truly is our only hope.

The moment Xangelix bestowed a blessing upon Panos the Wonder Child was very moving. Pure magic.

I think my favorite moment is when Zoroger(GM) announces that he has the power to stop the destruction, and then launches into a cheesy flat sythn bass line. Which is totally a Moroder move.

I just want to know everything about Panos the Wonder Child.

This is fantastic, so many nerdy synth jokes.

I love that these are based on the actual synth gods, Vangelis, Georgio Moroder and Wendy Carlos.

A couple of years ago, I must've stumbled upon this under the influence of Zoloft, and watched the whole thing half asleep or almost falling asleep. For the longest time I had no recollection of this, up until today when I was shuffling some songs and landed on Vangelis, at which point the vague memory of synth musicians battling a comet rushed into my brain, which I promptly convinced myself was something I'd made up on the spot. Nevertheless, I decided to Google it, found the video, and remembered the circumstances.

What an incredible video. What an experience.

I love how they've got a modular Moog, a Jupiter 8, an Oberheim (OB-x?), and an Emulator, but when they get to the final performance it's just a bunch of crappy cheap keyboards spray painted white xD

This definitely fills a void of weird that I've been missing.

How could you create something so genius as Panos the Wonder Child and only have them be in this one thing

I remember when this actually happened in real life. I wish I'd ordered the tape but I didn't have $47 to spare. I'm sure glad that Halley's Comet didn't destroy the earth.
