I must confess that I did shed a tear when I heard of Dame Maggie Smiths passing. I don't know why really. I mean it's not like I knew her. I am a great fan of hers though. Very few actors and actresses are what you would call truly a great, but she was one of the few. I think my favorite film of hers would probably be "Tea With Mussolini". She was brilliant. I think the king summed it up the curtain comes down on a national treasure". RIP Dame Maggie.
