Destination Wild

In 2016, IFAW lent its support to Wild is Life and the Zimbabwe Elephant Nursery (ZEN) to establish The ZEN Project - a landmark public-private partnership with support from the Forestry Commission of Zimbabwe that secures a vast expanse of former hunting ground in the Panda Masuie Forest Reserve. This groundbreaking partnership will change the face of conservation in Zimbabwe.

Our work of rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing individual animals into secure landscapes is now more important than ever. IFAW is applying this unique approach to save one of the largest remaining elephant populations in the world.

Fantastic to watch and try to get a grasp of the awesomeness of this process. I would watch a full-length feature of this - or an entire series of episodes!! Would love to see from beginning to end including obstacles & difficulties because I believe the overwhelming order is joy and success. Would also be very interested to see & hear more about the handlers whose entire lives, more than most, seem to be taken up with their elephants. They change countries to live with them and forgo their own family ties I suspect. Just awesome, in totality - "great work" does not cover it. I love all you people who care enough.
