This. 100% this! This was my experience too. I wrung my brain dry of all it's creative juices until I could give no more. For awhile it was a fantastic experience. But it was a tough pill to swallow to learn that a good chunk of viewers care more about the content than the creator themself. I'm waiting for the creative itch of editing to come back, but 2 years on I still don't want to make a video like my "old ones" A lot of other meme YouTube I used to talk to burned out around the same time.

Honestly parody videos should always be “for fun”. If you’re churning them out on a schedule they get stale fast. Always only do what you find to be enjoyable : ).
