Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur 03/06/1984

Brief footage of a post-season friendly in Swaziland between Liverpool and Tottenham from June 1984. The match was the first of two between the sides who had just won the European and UEFA cups respectively. Paul Walsh made his Liverpool debut in this game, and marked it with a goal.

Apologies for the poor picture, lack of sound and slightly amateur camera work in places. Hopefully it's still worth watching.

This footage was taken from the AP Archive youtube channel where most of the game is available in several parts, labelled "L270684K". The random title is presumably the reason why the videos have only been viewed a handful of time, so hopefully AP don't mind me sharing this footage here.

According to a few books written by the players, Tottenham trained for these games and the Reds drank in preparation. And we still hammered them.
