I love how focused black collar pup was on you the whole time, always looking at you for direction, where as pink collar was off in her own little world, white collar was looking at you for help and seemed stubborn like "no I'm not doing that, I don't want to"

I’m glad you picked the black collard girl. The white one was just overly focused on biting and I’d be worried about your daughters. It could of course be trained but this one seems much more calm and much more dedicated to being with you. Good choice.

It's very interesting how you put these little pups through their paces in a new, challenging environment. It really revealed dimensions of temperament and drive in a way that "does she bite???" can only scrape the surface of. I think even the breeder got a bit of enlightenment and insight. I'm sure all of the puppies will turn out great, but I think you sussed out an exceptional, well-rounded one. Well done, and congrats.

The first minute I see the three puppy, I knew the black collar one is the winner. It knows how to be confident, calm and feisty at the same time. It always turns around to check where you are and rarely distracted.

Watched this again last night, and just watching the interactions between you and the puppies, it actually looks like the black collar pup picked YOU. There's an air of "I really like this guy" in the way she looks at you, and it translated into her determination in the brush "I'm going to do whatever I have to to stay with you." Beautiful to see.

I've had two Belgian Groenendaels, the longer coated black version of Belgian. They are smart, dedicated, and will give you their whole heart.

I really do love Dutchies. She is so cute and I love how she is so willing to work with you in that brush, that's great to see in such a young pup. Very impressive. She needs a name that reflects that willingness and drive.
