What if Sans Judges You With Negative EXP? [ Undertale ]

On genocide, game checks Murder level, not your LV or kills. Murder level is an ingame variable that changes when you proceed genocide. Each time you make specific actions needed for the genocide it grows up (kill all monsters in location, attacking Monster kid and etc) . And if you screwed genocide, it goes back to zero. Battle with Sans depends on this variable, and you can hack the game and fight with him being on first lv. And yes, with karma effect. There is no such thing as karma counter (though Toby wanted to implement it)

I'd be willing to bet that the way this works comes down to the game checking for your kill count to be in one of three states: either at zero, at or above the minimum number of kills needed for a successful genocide run, or any other non-zero number. The game likely sees your negative kill count, and since it doesn't meet the criteria of being either equal to/greater than the genocide kill count _or_ exactly zero, it thinks you've done a neutral run, and sans judges you accordingly.

i'm not a programmer though, this is just my interpretation.
