Fetch Data data using jquery AJAX in asp.net MVC

Here I have shown how to use JQUERY AJAX to fetch data from a table in a list using ASP.net MVC.
Please remember to check if jquery script files are present in the scripts folder or not else you have to add it and then refer to it in your Layout Head section else jquery will not work.
