This song is very dear to me as this is the name of the ministry that the Lord gave me 1994 while listening to Daryl Coley who first sang, “To Be More Like Jesus.”

The Lord spoke to me as I listened to the song, He said, “This is the name of your ministry!” That day, in that moment, I wrote the words directly in my Bible by the verse that the Lord instructed me to read in the moment: Psalm 17:15.

One translation of that verse says, in essence, “every time that I awake, I shall behold your likeness . . . becoming more like You!”
