I had an '89 Cressida back in college. Fully spec'd. Leather, sunroof. And the 3.0 twin cam in-line 6. Beautiful machine. It already was a 10 year old car when I got it.

I had a 1983 Cressida station wagon 2.2 or 2.4 diesel, I don't remember but wither one of the engine..bI tried to kill that kne so hard, me and my friends crashed it thru fences, hit signs with its sides, run over ditches and jumps, Rev the heck out of it, and rum it hard as possible. Ended up bending the frame because of the rust... But what a car 😍 Started every time, even in -18°C and comfort from another world... It even had a 3 seater bench in front, a huge wagon..

Love these Japanese "Broughams" Kind of weird to see such a small car sport all the poofy button tufted luxury associated with 70's/80's Detroit barges. Yet at the same time we have digital gauges and a radio that looks like a $2000 in home hi-fi setup.

If i could id love to drive that. 80/90s cars made me like cars. No one cares about new cars. Toyota/ Honda JDM etc are better choices bc they had that special click w/ me back then. Very nice. Its a shame that ppl don't take care of their cars bc they would get their money worth out of it
