Palestinian flag snatched at Israeli ‘pro-democracy’ protest

WATCH: A man waving a Palestinian flag was attacked and had the flag torn away during an Israeli ‘pro-democracy’ protest.

Anti-government demonstrations escalated after the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sacked his defence minister, Yoav Gallant, for criticising proposals to overhaul the judiciary.

Under the proposals, ministers would have greater authority in appointing judges, including in the Supreme Court

I live in a majority-Jewish area in Melbourne, Victoria. I put up the Palestinian flag in front of my house (for all my Jewish neighbours to see) and went on a road trip to Canberra and Sydney. I came back, and the flag was gone. They’re not just scared of the flag. They’re scared of the truth.
