We test the 2022 Honda Navi, the latest addition to Honda’s miniMOTO lineup. Toeing the line between a twist-and-go scooter and step-over motorcycle, the latest mini borrows the fan-cooled, 109cc Single from the Activa 6G and the Grom’s popular design language. MSRP is $1,807.

We spent a day cruising around Costa Mesa, California, on the Navi and found it to be a fun, user-friendly machine, the perfect gateway to the world of motorcycling.

Wow! Part of that Vid was recorded at Fairview Park In Costa Mesa California . In the late 60's, We used to ride our Motorcycles in that area before it was a park [Adjacent to my High School Estancia] But then Costa Mesa Got helicopters, and we could not escape them like we did when they used to chase us with Jeeps and Harley Cop Bikes that we would lure into areas where they would bottom out and get stuck.... That was fun!

I would love to hear your commentary about the MSRP of the Navi versus the out the door price after all the dealers surcharges and fees.

Majority of people that I've been following on YouTube who have bought the Navi have paid close to $3, 000+ otd cost excluding tax title and license.

I am not a beginner but I like the idea of a cheap brand new bike just for commuting and cruising around the city and some and some back roads..as much as I loved my old grom I won't miss operating the clutch I like the just simple gas and go, but it feels better to be in a more upright position than seated like on a traditional scooter, shifting gears on a bike is nice if you have something performance but for commuting is like driving 5spd car won't miss shifting AT ALL lol

Son's Wife's new Navi delivered Dec 31 at Shawnee Honda in Oklahoma. Tops downhill at 55mph and a Blast!
Imagine a body like this for a People 250 with big tires, mid-storage and does 80mph?

I have KTM's and my wife wants in on the fun. She's not comfortable with shifting yet, so the Navi fits the bill for her. MSF course is mandatory for said, how do you feel about around town stability? Specifically the small wheels. I have never liked scooters and personally feel they are ill handling turds. Does the navi handle any better than a scooter? What was your experience regarding stability and how it handled typical pot holes, joints, etc you would find on city streets?

Any word on availability of these things thus coming year?

I would like an increase in speed and better brakes.

Been riding for 40+ years. I have several much larger bikes, but I also like small bikes. I am particularly interested in this one because it is carbureted. I think that is wonderful. No expensive computers to fail. And super easy to work on. The Navi has a 340 pound load capacity in the U.S., so full sized riders will fit on it. Remove that silly storage compartment that looks like a battery, put a decent exhaust on it, properly tune the carburetor, and it could be a real blast. It would be much nicer with a manual transmission and clutch, but that would seriously raise the price to more than I would be willing to pay for a bike this small. I have a feeling that 110cc engine and CVT is not going to do well on hills.

One of the things that all these reviews keep pointing out is the Navi's supposed "low seat height." Unfortunately, the seat height is anything but low. Going by all the hype about anybody can sit on the Navi flatfooted, I thought I would surprise my wife and I bought her one. When she came home from work, she was very excited about the bike and climbed aboard. We found, to our dismay and disappointment, that her feet were a good five inches off the ground on both sides. No way she can ride it. So much for the "low seat height that anybody can ride." I am now out a total of $2, 567.10 for something I have no use for. Honda needs to clarify that hey mean that anybody at least five feet, six inches tall can ride the Navi. If you happen to be closer to five feet tall, like my wife, this is a bike you might want to skip.

To bad you can't get one for that price anywhere tho, the dealer's all charge a couple more thousand and you can't order one online or anything

Thanks for the video man, I put a deposit down on one Friday, $200 down, walk out the door price, all in, including the deposit, $2730. I have a 1971 Honda Trail 90 currently but I'm excited for this thing, I bought it before even watching one video, and years is the first I've seen. More or less due in to the dealership March or April, but with the way the world has been in terms of logistics, we'll see.

So basically bike was done for India market and after poor sales he was discontinued. And now they decided to sell lefofer on Usa af because in other countries he goes for $900-1000...and in Usa after all stealers fees you got $3000 otd price.

I wouldn't entertain any bike with 12'' wheels. So easy to lose the front wheel. My 14'' -inch-wheeled scooter is bad enough.

the bad thing is that the new rider will try to go the freeway roads and there will be a lot accidents there will be a lot of deaths with this mini bikes we will see, 50 miles per with 12 inch tires and drum brakes not a good thing its a mini bike and thats all it will be and there will be a lot thief's
