Great video.I encountered a similar problem (lenovo v330-ikb)where I had to turn it on a couple of times in order to get picture.Solved it by flashing new bios bin

Merci pour la super vidéo, super pratique d'avoir des alternatives de contourner les "onboard" ram...Oui les EC block dump se retrouvent je crois systématiquement dans les bios dump. Très pratique pour rapidement comparer et vite éliminer des hypothèses. Je trouve les EC dump aussi parfois dans les sites de manufacturiers. Celà me sauve un temps considérable . Great video. I tried to do this on my Zephyrus G15 but all it did was make it so the ATI driver for my onboard video wouldn't work. Actually found the memory entries in two different places and removing either did not make the RAM disappear. Just same result with the onboard video driver.

Although I did it by just flashing the file on the machine. I did find it odd that the machine seemed to do a double reboot on the splash screen when I restore the BIOS using the built in utility but when I use the AFUWIN utility it doesn't seem to do that. I wonder if maybe I just need another reboot in there. I'll fiddle with it more next week.

If you have modified the BIOS and the user updates the BIOS your fix won't work anymore. Today BIOS get updated when you connect to Windows Update, so you can't choose if you want to update BIOS or not.
You can use it for troubleshooting, but you still need to replace the onboard memory if those are bad.

I don't understand why someone wants to flash an old BIOS? If a new BIOS get released and you do a Windows Update you get a new BIOS and the computer will fail again.

I enjoy your video, but I have one doubt. All the lines that you disable in bios file were showing codes (in accordance your Google search) for offboard RAM memories not for onboard ones. It seems like you were disabling offboard memories. Where is logic on that?
