Watching this video and seeing the love you’re giving it with the carwash makes me so happy it ended up with you guys - it reminded me of the times I washed it myself. Sad to hear about the stolen parts, makes one think it’s an inside job. Kind of hard to walk away with big expensive body pieces like a roof scoop and rear glass. I personally handed the key over to IAA so I know they have it.

BUT if it’s any consolation, I have the stock ceramic brakes, window sticker, car cover, spare parts, and a new set of wheels for it. My friend also picked up the undamaged front fender from the crash site. I’ll mail them over when I get back from Europe.

Good luck with the build boys, I can’t wait to see it back in its glory. Just treat it better than its last owner 😏😅

Man, I was sad not to win the GTR, but seeing this guys reaction... "Going to a good home" would be the understatement of the century. Ive never seen someone so happy.

I've been following you guys for many years! This McLaren HAS to be the most insane project you guys have ever tackled! I'm a 66-year-old retired Mechanical Engineer and have been a hotrodder since I was 15, and I have been wrenching since before you were born! If you guys can pull THIS ONE off, you are going to be world famous (if you aren't already)! One of the things I've learned over 40 years as an Engineer is when people tell you it can't be done it just means THEY can't do it! I've had other Engineers say that to me and I say: "Hold my beer and watch me!"

tavarish has a great carbon fibre repair guy, you can also get carbon pieces to replace the roof glass as theyre well known to just crack anyway, damon dde had this issue

So happy to see Mondi’s car being resurrected! DDE also has hopefully Mike Essa who can help with the suspension with their in shop made tool for the hydraulics! Can’t wait to see everything you decide to to with this remarkable car!
