DNREC Earth Day Winner John D.

For #EarthDay2021, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control hosted a video contest to educate and engage youth about the importance of environmental protection and inspire them to be part of the solution to address climate change.

The contest invited Delaware students to produce and submit a 30-second video to answer the question, “What should we be doing to protect and restore our Earth?”

The winner in the K to 4 category is John Doerfler IV, a 10-year-old 4th grader at Love Creek Elementary School in Lewes for his video, “From Little Things, Big Things Grow.”
