The acoustic open mic scene in London England is a total waste of time. The audiences do nothing but talk loudly during every 3 song performances. Ironically the ones who usually talk the loudest are musicians who are lined up to play or have played. I didnt mind them yakking loudly when i played but when i wanted to be inspired by other musicians playing then sadly i could hardly here them. Its the same noise problem everywhere.
