How to Recovery Dual Bios - The Last Way

- boot loop
- UEFI failure

Important for other models with dual BIOS from Gigabyte:
in my case: GA-B75M-D3V Rev.1.1.
I did everything as shown in the video, but finally BIOS didn´t start recovery; system rebooted every time it arrived at "GIGABYTE - UEFI dualBIOS" screen, not finishing screen load.
So, I tried to keep shortened pins 1-6 for more time. And ABRACADABRA! "GIGABYTE - UEFI dualBIOS" continued to load the screen up to eventually show the last phase, recovering BIOS from backup.
Brief, the releasing of clip from shortened pins 1-6 (step 4) MUST NOT BE DONE JUST WHEN THE SYSTEM SHOWS THE POST, BUT SOME SECONDS LATER. Must keep the pins shortened up to the instant where the recovery process from backup starts itself, not before.
At least with that model.

this worked a wonder for me! i have a z370 gigabyte and i had to hold the short for about 12 seconds for it to propperly work but my god you just saved me. i thought my mobo was bricked!!!! cant thank you enough!

Yeah this worked for me thank you. On a note Wait for the UEFI screen to release the short. Not the blinking cursor screen.

You can also flash m bios to b bios by shorting pin 2 on b bios to pin 6 on m bios

I'm Assuming this wouldn't help if my board doesn't have dualbios? Or... would this still somehow help me and at least get me into bios instead of hanging at the splash screen.

Hat bei mir funktioniert beim Gigabyte Z68X UD4 B3. Habe so lange mit einer spitzen Pinzette die Pins 1 und 6 verbunden, bis der Rechner nicht in Dauerschleife einen Restart machte, sondern plötzlich den BIOS auf den M-BIOS zurückschrieb. Ohne diese Info hätte ich das Board wohl wegwerfen Danke! Thanks! Gracias! Obrigado!
