Crayola is retiring one of it's Crayons that has been in our boxes for the last 27 years. 1990 saw the retirement of eight Crayons: Maize, Lemon Yellow, Blue Gray, Raw Umber, Green Blue, Orange Red, Orange Yellow, and Violet Blue. When those were retired a new Crayon was added, Dandelion. The Dandelion Crayon has been a favorite for many years, however, Crayola decided to pull it like a weed from our Crayon boxes.

Let us know what you think of Crayola's decision to remove the Dandelion Crayon. We want to hear from you!

If I were the CEO of Crayola, I would bring back all the colors they retired as well as add new colors.

It's not an April Fools joke. Crayola really did pull the Dandelion Crayon just as if it is a weed.

OMG!!! I was devastated when we lost Blue Gray, Green Blue, and Orange Yellow! Now they are taking Dandelion away too? I hope they replace it with something else instead of what they did before! I guess I am going to have to color my flowers all pink and purple now.... /sigh....

I always thought crayola had creative names for their colors, and dandelion was way up there... I used that color for filling in flowers, suns, hair, and anything else that's a slightly darker shade of yellow. I just hope this new shade of blue is an amazing shade of blue, yinmn took the best 😞😞😞
