Thanks Mel. I'm in the market for another high end razor. My friend has a Blackland and let me borrow it but I found it to be a little harsh, so I'll probably go with the Carbon but of course they are all sold out right now.

Great shave, I have a blackbird absolutely love it and I have always wanted a Carbon Razor. Tow very nice razors

These two razors are my go to everyday razors. For me, nothing shaves like the BBTI. My choice would be the BBti but the weight and customization of the Carbon ti makes it such a fun razor to use. I'm glad I don't have to choose between them. Great Shave Mel. I'm glad you are so happy with these razors.

Nice comparison Mel! Sounds like a couple of Top shavers.
Maybe blackbird lite may be a closer comparison in bladefeel to that carbon. Not sure. I have the BB with both plates but not the carbon. The BB handle grip could be better as knurled handles are more of a sure grip for me but then the BB would look silly with knurling. The carbon looks grippier. Have a good Sat!!
