Taking to the streets over the Hooghly violence in West Bengal, BJP workers held a protest on April 03. WB BJP President Dr Sukanta Majumdar also joined the protest and took a swipe at state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. CM has been criticised by BJP over increasing violence incidents in state during festivals of Navaratri and Ramadan.
“Police are not ready to cooperate with us. Section 144 is not here or to the place where we want to go but they are still not allowing us. This is on the instructions on WB CM. CM is signaling to create violence on Hanuman Jayanti,” Majumdar said.
