The Apollo praying joke reminds me of a story of my auntie who had like 15 kids. One time she got so mad she went outside and yelled "God why did you give me so much kids" the next day she sent 2 of my cousins to the grocery store and when they were just crossing the street to the store a truck ran them over. Both were decapitated on the spot and this is why I never challenge God at anything.

Thanks for the support guys but again I wasn't close with them. One thing that I did forget to mention was what happened after they got ran over. The truck driver drove off and in the panic someone called my auntie up (They lived in a not so populated town) when she came there was a man hunched over the bodies and when she got closer the man grabbed both of the decapitated heads and held them up for auntie to see. She fainted and needlessly said after that my family has vowed to never challenge God like that ever again

The smiling soldier wasn't shell-shocked or being creepy he was laughing at a joke another guy said but you can't see it because the photo is cropped to focus on him. And he apparently had blue eyes and cameras weren't good back then so it made it look creepy af but he's actually laughing from a joke and the other guys were laughing too
