0:00 E Extend
"E" creates an explosion that roots enemy's. This can be used to catch people farther than the travel of "E". Use this in lane to hit enemy laner who is close to minions, usually catches people off guard.

0:19 E Melee Knockback
Can be used to create distance between you and a melee enemy, so you can kite them or run away. (Usually against bruisers that stick on you)

0:36 Q Bush Check
When using Q on a bush you can see if anybody is in there. You will get a different sound and the lasers with glow if it hits anything. When using Q on a bush you can see if anybody is in there. You will get a different sound and the lasers with glow if it hits anything.

1:10 R Reduces E Cooldown
Just a Bonus tip that people don't know. You can spam "E" way more in ult form because of the cooldown reduction.

1:31 Dead bodies drop Souls
You don't need to get an assist for enemies body's to drop down souls, The souls stay on the ground for 16 seconds. So if you run past a fight that happened moments ago, there is a chance you can pick up some free souls.

1:41 W Spawn camp
Very powerful to use in mid/late game. When you have W maxed it has almost global range. So time "W" with enemy respawns for free souls, they can't dodge it. W takes 1, 5 seconds to explode.
It also stops their homeguard and slows them, so you can really disrupt their tempo.

Here's one I found recently: Swain normally has to walk up to a certain radius of the soul fragments enemy champions drop upon death to pick them up. If you hit an enemy with your W, all nearby soul fragments automatically fly back to you no matter how far away you are. Kind of rare, but useful when it happens.

As a good Swain OTP i knew every trick ;)
The one i maybe would add is a swain q interaction, once you started the cast the q is gonna go through no matter what, you can die or get cced it does not make a difference´
has let to some nice post-mortem kills and free darkseal stacks for me ;)

e melee knockback can be very helpful when running away!
hit them with e, get to the side you want to ESCAPE to, stay very close then pull to "push" them back

Thx for the video, I also wanted to share another tip as I play alot of Swain; you can slow also the minion wave by using your W, thus helping you to push the enemy wave under the tower or helping you freeze.

I really like swain, cause i can get to enjoy the frontline "support" playstyle thanks to items his kit <3

i learned the tips myself after playing him for a while except how e cd was reduced while ult is up xd

is there any scenario where you build the Liandry's mask instead, like if enemy team has like 3 mega tanks? (cho, sion, ksante or ornn?)

and is arcane comet only good against mid laners like lb, ahri? when quick short bursty trades occur mostly? I've been using conq 99% of the time, i went to use summoner book rune a while back too

Hey Husum, been learning a lot since I started following the channel! Also the work that you put in the videos is great, the edits and well resumed info makes really easy to enjoy, keep uploading. :) I feel like Swain is a very versatile champion, can fit many roles and hold his ground well with his kit, thats why I chose to main him. I would like to suggest a video more in-depth about Swain's possible Runes setups.
Because, recently by watching your gameplay and studying other Swain mains (like @TheAfricanDream) Im kinda in doubt about Conqueror in some games. I feel its not that easy to fully proc the 12 stacks but ofc is useful in teamfights but only if you can tank some damage (Works well with JakSho for example).
Would like to see a video like this coming out, imo has a lot to explore aswell!

Now the real swain trick is to not immediately W E2 if you hit E1 while playing with Comet.
