Nice KTM, my friend is deciding on selling his 2015 KTM 1290 duke which has only 1, 600 original miles with the blocking plates added, Remus mid section “delete of the CAT”, Acropovic map, Wings exhaust “muffler”. He wants $10K which I think is a little high for a 2015. I wanted to add another V-twin to my MC collection. Ride safe and thanks for the KTM 1290 duke review.

Hi there, my local dealer has a 2015 for sale and I've booked a test ride on for next week. Ive found it really interesting that you and many others can ride this bike slowly unlike ducatis which are lumpy in traffic. I know as owned a 2015 multistrada and sold it because of issues with its running. Looking forward to more vids on the bike. Buy the way what camera and mic are you using. Keep them coming. Ice warning?! That’s cool!! I thought it was pretty cool that my FZ has an ambient temp sensor. The KTM does look badass! Love the orange frames. I read something a while back it said... if you don’t look back at your bike as you’re walking away, you bought the wrong bike! So yeah like you said, visual is huge. Hopefully Cali’s new exhaust law won’t nab you! Ride safe buddy!

I think you made a really good choice, I love those KTM motorcycles. I like the BMW motorcycles as well but those headlights on some of them are weird.

Riding in 'Rain Mode' makes it much Smoother. Congrats. I prefered the 2016 way over their Newer SD's. Don't see Paying to Play when the 2016'ns have it All without Paying KTM to Open the Program that's already on their 2017-19 and is Standard on their pre-2017 Models. KTM has become a Penny-Pincher when their Motorcycles are Priced at a Premium. Booo KTM.

This is a great bike. I've never seen the BMW 1000R live, but from pictures I think it just looks too much like a sportsbike. And that's ok if you like the look, but I'm personally more into the more clearly naked bike looking bikes or street fighters. I'm really looking forward to the Harley street fighter that's supposed to come out this year. I'm just concerned that they will underpower and overprice it :(

It is very easy to find the powder coat color # online, definitely have the wheels powder coated instead of paying for the orange wheels. Unless you find someone that wants to trade wheels. It will cost much much less. I have the same bike and love it to death. Enjoy!

It's beautiful, how do you like the lighting on the road at night? Does it compare to the hogworks on the fatbob? I ask cause I have the same on my fatbob and love them! Is there an upgrade if needed for your super duke?
