Those fish plates are Bitossi made in Italy worth well over $100 each! Great find!

I love watching you two do what you do, but my favorite thing is watching your relationship. It is a beautiful blessing. It's like Julian & Kayla are one person. Yeah, you blend!!

That’s a beautiful piece of Pyrex, I’ve never seen that one

The glass @ 15:43 looks like end of day glass which you could look underneath to see if it has a pontil if it’s blown glass, or signature or if it’s weighty. All signs of good art glass.
It’s good you double check on things Julian, like on that sprayer. People can be way off on their prices at yard sales, you have to have your wits about you!
Good jewelry finds Kayla. Really fun.

Awww that piece you left behind was also portmeirion botanic garden. I’ve sold several pieces of it. You can differentiate between the knockoffs & the real by if it has the flower name in Latin on it, it’s real portmeirion botanic garden.

15:20, looks like a Moravian star. Which she said later LOL.
I'd love to find a good chunk of gold

Great finds today! I would have grabbed all the Pyrex and some other MCM pieces at that one sale! Thanks for all the info! Always fun!

Be careful with the rings as those that come out of China have incorrect 925 markings on them so you are right to test them

Man, I gotta say, just bought a test kit because of you. I needed this, for a bit.

Super cool finds y’all. Killing it out here.

Not birth year but it's when she was conceived. Pretty cool that you found that piece of pottery.

The botanical garden is the pattern and the whole thing is Portmarion. Nice find.

You can get a diamond tester for $20. I’m saving up for a Presidium gem tester. Amber and rubies fluoresce under uv light. If you had a loop, real stones usually have inclusions you can see.

Tell Kayla that plants like cold black tea. A friend of mine gave her plants cold tea when she had some left in the pot and they loved it. Her African violets especially.
They do plate silver with gold. There is also red gold which has a reddish colour due to the copper they add to make it the red colour. There used to be green gold and blue gold too but not made anymore. You should get a gemstone tester, Dr Lori has one on her website. The multi gem ring might be made by Himalayan gems and worth more than $30.

That multicoloured drinking glass - with different coloured splotches that look is called ‘end of day glass’ in places like Murano in Italy at the end of the working day the studios would let their craftsmen use up that day’s left over glass in whatever design they wanted and usually they would let them keep the items to sell for themselves

Y'all are my very favorite couple. I appreciate you giving a good overview of the stuff at the sales and in thrift stores. I enjoy seeing what's there and sometimes even see something I have. I'm no longer able to go to sales and I love seeing them with y'all. I wish I lived near you because I have a large spider plant with lots of babies I would give to Kayla.

Tank is a Fire / Forestry Dept portable tank to wear on your back for fighting woods/ grass fires. Have carried that heavy thing around. Has several washers that rot over time. We used to call them Indian Tanks.
