They don’t allow me to drive in both counties on LI. Why if they’re not part of NYC

I’m the opposite of you. I find Nassau county to be more lucrative IMHO than Westchester county. I’ll usually start my day with a few trips in Westchester and try a schedule to airport drop off at JFK, not LGA because that’s a complete lost to me. Once I get my trip to JFK, I slide out to nassau and cherry pick only short rides and ride to jfk. Nothing to Queens or Brooklyn. And on my last trip I’ll accept something going back to the city, preferably the Bronx where I live.

I start to drive for Lyft in New Jersey and than I change to Nassau Conuty and I have been like it and I like more New Jersey because in Jersey than are always call while Nassau Conuty there always call to NYC

Thanks for the post. I think the wear and tear to your vehicle when driving in the boroughs is a major downside. I enjoy Westchester county because I get to do a lot more highway/freeway driving rather than all that stop and go traffic in NYC.

I was driving in westchester for first time and all the trips they gave me took me out of the work area and I had to drive 15 or 20 minutes for back to weschester, is it very uncomfortable to spend a lot of fuel on any area that doesn't take me so much out of the place?

How come Lyft is crazy expensive going from the city to Long Island compared to going from Long Island to the city? It was saying 62$ city to Long Island and then 25$ going from Long Island to the city
