Unirafting / MUniraft - Unicycling and Kayaking - Pedalling and Paddling - Packraft - Unicycle

Mixing sports: Unicycling and Kayaking or MUni (Mountain Unicycling) and Kayaking / Canoeing.
I named "Uniraft" or "Unirafting" this combination of unicycling and packraft/ packrafting and "MUniraft" or "MUnirafting" when riding a "municycle" (a unicycle designed for off-road unicycling or trials, flat etc.) instead of another type of unicycle.
Packrafting could be described as carrying a small inflatable kayak while hiking. Bikeraft or bikerafting is an amazing combination of cycling and packraft. This is the reason for choosing to combine the words "Uni" or "MUni" and "raft" or "rafting".
A packraft is not a packable kayak or canoe, but a ultra-portable boat propelled and controlled by a double-ended paddle like most of the kayaks. A packraft is usually missing foot braces or thigh straps or knee rests or anything else designed to increase control of the boat and provide more efficient paddling. Canoers use single-bladed paddles and either kneel on the boat or sit on an elevated seat. This is not the case for packrafts.
These special rafts are tough and durable but also light and compact. So a packraft can be packed down to a size which is tiny enough to carry in a backpack.
Most packrafters choose 4-piece or 5-piece paddles for the easy transportation, and storage. The oversized “high-angle” blade is ideal for more torque and power with every stroke.
Packrafting and a unipacking trip are a great combo. In this video I've used my Indy 19" (20"x2.5") trials unicycle/ municycle (140mm cranks) and Decathlon Itiwit PR100 packraft. This packraft was not designed for bikerafting. It is too small for that. But a 20" folding bike (or smaller bike) or a trials unicycle suits this packraft. A unicycle is easier to secure to the boat than a bike. It also increases its stability.
