I use 1 oz TKB lip gloss base, .50 oz TKB M-Base Versagel .30 oz TKB Polybutene .10 oz caster oil,
.14 oz honey .8 oz vitamin E & .10 oz Jojoba oil. For color I use a high end lip stick 1/3 of the stick. Warm up the lip stick until fully melted before adding products. Stir, stir stir until well blended. Add in oils last and blend some more. This makes an amazing lip oil that shines and stays on your lips for hours. I have zero separation of colors and I use LorAnn oils for flavoring. My customers love it. Marie I would love for you to try this recipe I put together. I don't have most of what you're recipes are. But I can't wait to purchase what I'm missing and try yours. ❤️♥️

Would love to see a lip juice or lip water recipe, for the ultimate hydration. I am currently using Wander Beauty Glow Ahead Illuminating Face Oil on my lips as a pre-treatment before I wear lipstick or other heavier lip treatments. It wasn’t formulated for lips so not sure how safe it is but I love how it instantly absorbs into my lips plumping them with instant hydration.

The only option in your list of substitutes that I had was lanolin, so I tried formula 1 with lanolin and passionfruit oil as substitutes. I really don't mind the smell of the lanolin at all and it worked beautifully! I adore my lip oil.

Hmmm, it's going to be a long time before I order from TKB again, but maybe... A blend of castor and lanolin could thicken the mixture up? Pure lanolin would be too thick and it's too opaque, and I'm a weirdo who likes the smell but 40% lanolin would be a lot of... smell. Castor would add some thickness, plus it's clear and glossy. I might try it out.

Love this! Could I replace polybutene with honey? Im just very sensitive to certain thick ingrediengs in lip products so I don't know how I'd react to this. And what are other ingredients like vitamin that stall oxidization and increase shelf life? Also, I read somewhere that one shouldn't mix vitamin c and hyaluronic acid, but I see that you did. Does it depend on the form of the acid or vitamin c? Thank you, I suoer enjoyed this :)

As luck would have it, I included polybutylene in my last tkb order... I kept it in my ingredients box with no clue what to do with it (impulsive shopper here, but the reviews were good and I wanted to experiment later on). Now I now what I'll do with my Sunday :)

I tried the rosehip oil version with Versagel cuz i couldn't find polybutene. I love it ☺️. But i was wondering how to i modifiy it to make it thicker and more enveloping without being tacky. So i just raise versagel amount? Thanks a lot
