Hate to be that guy, but maybe consider not following the horrible trend of stereo audio. You record in stereo so you can independently adjust the two levels, and you export them as a mono track. Stereo of two people talking is fine on crummy speakers, but horrible on good ones and headphones where you have good separation/soundstage. It makes it nearly unwatchable having the audio jump back and forth between channels like that. When two people are standing in front of you, do you hear the one on your right only in your right ear? No.
