Playoffs Reggie was sooo fun to watch! He was so prepared and focus. Took what defenders gave him and react really quickly! It made him so hard to guard! His off screen running, pump fake, floater, step back were so lethal! Very unpredictable! Like Reggie so much!

Reggie Miller went toe to toe with MVP Allen Iverson in 2001

35 year old Miller averaged 31.3 PPG on 46/43/93
25 year old Iverson averaged 31.5 PPG on 41/26/79

That 3 - steal the inbound pass for another 3 to tie the game against the Knicks had me going crazy. One of those unforgettable moments in sports.

Reggie is the only player in nba history that whenever he shoots you feel it’s going in always!!!

Modern basketball right here, 3 pointers, stepbacks, moving with out the ball. Dude would be top 3 in todays game. Miller was my fav player growing up.

Miller was born with a hip deformity that forced him to wear leg braces in his youth. That's insane that he overcame that and became a hall of fame NBA player.

Growing up in Indiana, about 40 miles from Indy, this man was an idol. He didn't look like the typical athlete. R-E-G...G-I-E, Reggie, Reggie. There was nothing like the sound of Market Square Arena, and I mean all of MSA, would chant:"Reggie, Reggie. Reggie!"
P.s. up yours Spike Lee

Reggie, Reggie, Reggie was phenomenal! He carried the Pacers for over a decade and was always so unselfish, never played for the stats, but for the team. In this era he would have been at least on Curry's level, if not more. Thank you for posting this video!

He was so unselfish.. only averaged less than 15 field goal attempts per game in his prime. When he was on the court with Rik Smits, the Pacers focused on making the most out of Rik because of his knees.
At the end of the game or in the 4th quarter, everybody knows who's gonna shoot, but you just can't stop him.
He's not like today's shooters. So unselfish. If he plays in today's league, he would definitely score a lot more than back then.

His shooting technique is actually extremely fundamental imo, his knees bent, his dip, his elbow angle, his high release. Flawless. If he played in today's style of game he would easily drop 25+ a night

I was very blessed to live in indianapolis through the 80s and 90s when the Pacers were on a tear. Indeed, so fun to watch! From the theatrics and unreal shooting by Reggie, to the dirty work and blocked shots from Davis brothers, to the incredible accuracy from 7'4" Smits, they were really fun to root for.

In particular was their playoff runs, which of course culminated with the excitement already there in May around the Indy 500. The Indy car sound they played during the games, very cool!
