One thing that always bothered me bout the presidency (or any position in government, frankly) is the ability for them to be able to pardon themselves. This should not exist.

The US is a member of NATO as the result of a treaty ratified by the Senate. Trump would have no power to unilaterally take the US out of NATO. Exiting NATO would require Senate approval.

If Americans would vote Trump again, I really loose all hope for that country.

It‘s not that I am a Biden fan or would care about ideologies like „liberals“ or „conservatives“, but with some experience in life I know who only causes trouble.

That such a large country can‘t come up with a „normal“ human being is really astonishing.

Thank God Biden is watching out and expanding NATO - withdrawing from NATO would have been the kiss of death for the United States of America and literally everything we stand for, everything NATO stands for...everything our allies have been through...this is so basic to me.

"Viking" Denmark here, there is good reason why Finland and Sweden are now joining their fellow Scandinavians in NATO, Should the USA withdraw from supporting Ukraine and/or leave NATO, it will be the start of WW3 in Europe, which the USA cannot escape and will be blamed for.

I disagree. Commuting the sentence would just encourage someone else to do the same. A lesson has to be learned here that no one is above the law and just because it may hurt the feelings of some, that is the point.

Putin is looking forward to Trump's victory in the presidential election, because Trump will do a lot in his interests. Putin's friends Frau Merkel and French President Hollande in 2008 opposed Ukraine's entry into NATO. As a result, Ukraine found itself defenseless against Russian aggression. Europe also does a lot for Putin.

I don't think Ford's pardoning of Nixon is a valid comparison. I think what Trump has done does far beyond Nixon's offenses. Some of what Trump has done are things that he should do time for.
