After Effects Expressions 101 Tutorial

Expressions in Adobe After Effects open up a world of possibilities for your visual effects! Learn the very basics of how to use exressions starting at the very basics!

Expressions can be daunting when you first get into them as you have to essentially write 'code' - and code can be scary.

Therefore I want to create a short mini series that will cover how to work with expressions and show you all the exciting things you can do with them, starting at the very basics - all the way through to programming the Matrix!

First of all, you are making a great tutorials witch i really enjoy. I find your humor in the tutorials very refreshing. This is the first tutorial i didn't enjoy watching. This was more of a JavaScript programing 101 tutorial then anything else. I think it will be better to share some great JavaScript programing resources, and focus on the topic of the chanel vfx or filmmaking in general. I personally was very excited about this tutorial, since i already have the programming background and i was hoping to see the practical use cases in Aftereffects. Anyway i really enjoy this chanel. Thank you for making it, and keep up the great work.

Great tutorial, but without my years of university classes in programming I think I would have been lost pretty soon (the lingo alone). But for my level (intermediate programming, low in AE), it's quite perfect, so thank you a lot!
