x^2 + 7x = 5x + 15, x^2 + 2x = 15, (x+1)^2 = 16, x+1 = plus minus 4 so x can either be 3 or -5. Now we substitute x in the equation 15/x, so 15/3 = 5 and 15/-5 = -3. Therefore the answer is either 5 or -3
