I was a sheriff's deputy and my father lost both his legs in Vietnam, so anytime I saw someone parking in a handicap zone without a handicap permit I scratched a ticket and I would get cussed out all the time, easiest way to de-escalate that situation was tell the driver either get a permit or don't park in the zone or you can keep yelling at me and I'll arrest you for disorderly conduct, Have a nice day.

In Montréal, parking in a handicap zone is a 352$ ticket.

15 dollars? what are you complaining about. In Denmark where I am from all parking tickets starts at least at 100 dollars.

The people complaining because the cop gave them incorrect info about handicap parking. Hmm if I had a choice of who to ask about parking it would a PPA officer over a a cop. Why? Because to get a job at the PPA you have to study every traffic code. Someone I know works for them because of the city benefits.

Safety, safety, safety that is all I hear, number one comeback, I followed with the protocol during the Covid 19 and found out the protocol were all lies, plus 7 million people died.
