Here are the stories of four inventors who died as a result of their own creations:
4. Hannes Smolinski - Invention: Flying Car. During a flight, the right wing of the vehicle broke off, causing it to crash to the ground. Smolinski died on the spot.
3. Alexander Bogdanov - Invention: Blood Transfusion. He died after receiving a contaminated or incompatible blood transfusion.
2. Horace Hanley - Invention: Submarine. Hanley went to sea to test his submarine. Unfortunately, it sank shortly afterwards and Hanley lost his life.
1. Franz Reichelt - Invention: Parachute Suit. He tried to test his invention by jumping from the Eiffel Tower. However, the parachute failed to open.

I believe the submarine 'inventor ' was named "Hunley". The vessel was raised and succeeded in making the first successful submarine attack. However, it sank with all hands shortly afterward.
