Learning competency: describe the history of the earth through geologic time. You will see familiar concepts like prokaryotes, eukaryotes, etc. In this video, the geologic time scale will be divided into two - Precambrian and phanerozoic. Under the Precambrian period, we have Hadean, archaean, and Proterozoic. Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic make up the Phanerozoic time. This video will only focus on the important event that happened in the particular era or eon.

Thanks for putting together this summary. I did notice one error, when you switch to the Proterozoic Eon, the time duration does not change, it’s the same as the Archaean Eon.
