Well, I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered and I don't know where to go here out of devastation.

He is simply saying change happens at a far slower pace than people think it will.

Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $260K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I've been thinking of going that route, been holding a bunch of stocks that keeps tanking and I don't know if to keep holding or just dump them, think you coach could aid me with portfolio-restructuring?

For those of you who discount Warren Buffett, I was there 20 years ago in 1999 and 2000 and everybody thought Warren Buffett was full of shit. The same speculative frenzy that's going on today was going on back then. Buffett was against it at the time. When the tech bubble burst in 2000 Buffett was proven correct. I wouldn't be too quick to discount Warren Buffett. He only has a lifetime of investing experience and is only the best investor on the planet.

I really like that he calls the interviewer out on “baiting “ him.

Warren buffet is an investor and a great one, what investor cares the most is certainty. If he can’t see certainty on something or too hard to understand he will pass. He only has to make money in his circle of competency.

Like Peter Lynch says...some people are just in love with their stock like it's a relationship. A lot of Tesla investors are like that, but gains are gains.

Warren’s rational thinking over emotions is really refreshing given the hype in Bitcoin and Tesla.

Tesla is priced like a company that will have 100% of the ev market. Think its way too overvalued now

There’s a reason Warren Buffett is a very wise ol’ owl. He’s practical and he makes decisions based on common sense and practical objective information. He’s dead-on accurate here. I could listen to Warren all day.

These guys are value investors, not innovators. It's hard for them to invest in companies who innovate. The price is based solely on it's predicted growth, not it's value based on earnings. It's risky to invest in these stocks. You may hit a homerun or you may lose everything. They don't invest that way.

Once the other companies catchup on EV tech and logistics Elon will know the value of moat.

The problem from not only the illusion of environmentally friendliness but from the consumers point of view is if the car is worthless after 7 years due to unviable / planned obsolescence or simply not financially viable to replace parts - straight to the scrapyard (yes it is full of oil based components)

People buy candy when they need a pick me up; don't want a headache figuring out if new brands will satisfy hunger or boredom. Brands took time to build trust and it's hard to replace its recognition. Mr. Buffett is wise beyond his years.

"You're baiting me..."
"I am."

That must be the most honest exchange in news.

lol at Elon telling Buffett that moats are quaint...Buffett basically made his entire fortune investing in companies that have moats

You absolutely need dispassionate and critical thinking as much as you need risk taking innovation. The two go together.

In this video, Buffet was asked if he would invest in Tesla stock and he said no. The closing price for Tesla stock the day after this video was posted on YouTube was $207.77. The closing price for Tesla stock yesterday was $109.69. The "Oracle of Omaha" is correct way more than he is wrong!
