I love this! American history, the good, bad, and the ugly, should be taught to us all. ❤️

I'm from Alabama, and I definitely do not know & didn't learn in school about any African American performers coming to my home during the Great migration during racial segregation in history class or anything. I'm so psyched for learning & seeing more about that topic in future episodes & more.

Thanks for bringing SLC's Japantown to light. I've been living here for months and just recently heard about it. I'm looking forward to what you can teach us.

I'd also love to learn about the Filipino colonies in Louisiana and Chinatowns in Southern Utah. I never learned about those places in Utah public education.

Will you be able to differentiate between the purposeful destruction of minority enclaves and collateral damage? I noticed that the sewage treatment facilities in Annapolis are built on the site of a beach used by the African American community. Intentional?
