Its fun to look back at this very first election and see last names like Lincoln and Clinton. Obviously different people, but still interesting to know we would eventually get a Lincoln as President and a Clinton as President, just had to wait 70 years and 200+ years lol

This entire series was like a book I can't put down. As a huge fan of this area of history I'm also fascinated by who the losing candidates were as well as who the running mates were. For only lasting about five minutes each they cover a lot of ground. Bravo Mr. Beat. This is an incredible series. Thank you!

Benjamin Lincoln was the actual General to accept the British surrender at Yorktown. Cornwallis wimped out and sent out his #2 who tried to surrender to the French General who deferred to Washington, Washington not wanting to accept the sword form a lesser officer deferred to his #2 one Benjamin Lincoln.
